About me

I am passionate about people's unique perceptions. I think that my journey into experience design started as a kid - as a half-British, half-Italian little human, I always felt a sense of astonishment behind people's different reactions to things surrounding them. Curiosity, my ever-lasting engine, keeps pushing myself to the same question: “How would you, and her, him, they, perceive this moment?”. And this is all Experience Design stands for, right?

My mindset stands on two main pillars: empathy and pragmatism. Empathy, as I always try to put myself into others’ shoes, approaching daily life away from preconceptions and cultural bias (as much as I can!). Pragmatism, as my experience taught me that things must occur, in order to make a difference - or, in Yoda’s words, “do or do not - there is no try”!
This is also the reason why I have a natural aptitude for planning and coordination. Given a challenge, the first thing I usually think about is: “ok, let’s set the next step: owners, facilitators, deliveries”. This though usually goes along with the will of “putting the hands in the dough”, as we say in Italy: even if lots of my daily job relies on coordination of cross-functional teams, I strive for working with each team member, no matter how “vertical” the topic is.
